Every year, Facebook holds its flagship event for the gaming industry 'Level Up'.
Responsibilities included art direction, video content including the opening titles, music and set design also.
Inspired by the 'Hyundai Hyper-Matrix', I wanted to create animated 3D pixels morphing through the different areas of gaming. The video itself was made in Mash for Maya and required a multi stage procedural process, animating in Maya & AE, rendering depth passes to drive the extruded cubes, baking that animation out then projection mapping the images back on to the cubes.
